The Insurance Institute of Highway Safety (IIHS) has introduced a new side-impact test to determine the reliability of vehicles going forward. In this new test, 18 different mid-sized SUVs were tested to determine revised safety evaluations. Of the 18 models evaluated, only 10 received an overall “Good” rating in the testing.
