Cargo is effectively a wash (both around 69–70 cu ft), both offer AWD, and the Tiguan tows slightly more. So this comes down to a clear trade: the RAV4’s hybrid MPG against the Tiguan’s lower price, power ceiling, bigger screen and gas simplicity.
