With the initial unveiling of the 2024 ID.Buzz, there is preliminary information about the trim options. Equipped with a reliable powertrain that makes zero emissions from the tailpipe, the reintroduction of the iconic vehicle is one that suits the future of vehicle design. Performance
The single electronic motor that will be equipped in the initial ID.Buzz family of all-electric vans will deliver 282 horsepower for rear wheel drive models and 330hp for AWD models with virtually instant acceleration that is also incredibly quiet. To improve the maneuverability of the large vehicles even further, Volkswagen puts the battery on the floor of both the ID.Buzz. Currently, there is no information on the total estimated range on a single charge of its battery, however the capacity of the battery is a generous 86kWh of usable power.
Interior Features
The three rows of seats in the long wheel base ID.Buzz will offer superior cargo and passenger space. Most noteworthy about these two new vehicles is the fact that Volkswagen is making a statement of environmental sustainability with the design. Instead of leather, a non-animal material that gives the same appearance and feel as traditional leather is found in its place. Additionally, Volkswagen is incorporating recycled and other partially reclaimed materials in the interior to add even more sustainability to the all-electric van. With a standard ambient lighting system that can be customized with 10 colors and being upgradeable to 30, the interior of the ID.Buzz will always have a personalized feel for any driver.
Safety Features
With a futuristic vehicle like the 2024 ID.Buzz comes equally innovative safety and driver-assistance technology. Among the high-end features that will be present in the initial European versions of the all-electric microbus are Front Assist and Lane Assist. Options such as Adaptive Cruise Control and Area View will be available to equip to give the ID.Buzz the extensive array of monitoring and protection that modern Colorado drivers appreciate having at their command.
